Billiard is popular in British armed Forces in India.
Billiard plays first Time in !6th Century.it was Known "Gentlemen,s Game".Billiard have no pocket and just have hole to pot the balls.

Gradually this game become famous and get royalty from british people.

After get some popularity First Snooker competition is took place in 1916.

In 1927 Joe Davis (professional snooker player) establish a professional snooker championship Known as "World Snooker Championship"

This Snooker Championship First televised in 1973.

ITV and Skysports seeking to broadcast more coverage of the sport once again.
